CrossFit L1 Certified, USAW L1
Born and raised in Arvada, Colorado, I grew up very active as child playing Baseball, Football, Soccer, Skiing and Snowboarding. Ultimately playing baseball at the college level. It was during this time when he began to understand the important role that exercise and nutrition plays in a persons life. After being benched by injury he remained active with competitive Softball, Indoor Soccer and weight training. In 2011 my family and I moved to Tallahassee, FL. he very quickly found the local “Globo Gym” and began doing the same old routine he had done for so many years. After going through the motions for over a year and basically getting fat strong, we relocated to south Florida and just about the time I was heading to sign up at the next “Globo Gym” I passed a sign that simply read “CrossFit coming soon”. I’d heard rumors of this CrossFit and was curious. I came back during a pre-registration time and spoke to the coaches and although nervous and skeptical I was fed up with the “same old, same old” and gave it a shot. My wife almost divorced me over the monthly dues but.. From day 1 of that CrossFit box opening its doors my wife and I have never looked back.
In August 2013 I became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and plan on continuing my education and training to become the best coach I can. What I enjoy most about CrossFit is seeing how much work I can actually make my body do, finding out just how hard I can push myself past what I thinks my limits are. The most exciting aspect of coaching CrossFit is helping people achieve both the athletic and personal milestones they never thought were possible. CrossFit will help achieve a level of strength, endurance, and fortitude that is essential in any athletic competition, challenge or just plain life. One regret I have is not finding This sooner in life.
